We understand that the new wave of website clients are looking for a website that they can change the content themselves without incurring addition expense. Those clients may need a database backend, a shopping cart or even a program to send emails to their opt-in email clients. We have found that building a website on a DotNetNuke platform offers the versatility required. Our website are designed to make it easy for users to manage all aspects of their projects. Site wizards, help icons, and a well-researched user interface allow universal ease-of-operation. Each site comes fully loaded with a set of built-in tools that provide powerful pieces of functionality. Site hosting, design, content, security, and membership options are easily managed and customized through these tools. Our sites offers the most complex content management systems entirely with its built-in features, yet also allows administrators to work effectively with add-ons, third party assemblies, and custom tools. And site customization and functionality are limitless.

In addition, if there is some functionality that you would like to have on your website that is not available in the package, ask us!  We'd be happy to find something for you that will work.

Bulk Email to Your User Groups - The bulk email program allows you to choose a group of contacts to receive the email.  Administrators can send bulk email to all users belonging to a particular User Role. Simply select the User Role, enter the subject and content of your message then click the 'Send Email' hyperlink.

Centralization of Your Data
- Allows you to run an intranet and website from one location, while providing security for your documents by restricting different access to different user groups.

Content Modules - Managing common types of content is simple with our intuitive Content Modules.  The design work has already been done for you!  Content Modules include online news, coming events, discussion forums, feedback form, employee contact information and more.

File Management
- Upload files and images directly from your computer to your website.  Once you have loaded a file, it is instantly available in your file list on all modules that handle files.  An image gallery with previewing of all images is also available in the HTML Module.  Simply drag and drop to select an image.

Google Search Engine Submission - Submit each individual page of your website to Google at no cost.  Simply enter your website title, description and keywords on each page and click GO!

Password Protected Content
- You have full control over who can access each area the site. One site can feature a number of password protected areas allowing different access to buyers, suppliers, members, or resellers, depending on your main contact groups.  You can even include a staff only Intranet Area.

Recycle Bin - The recycle bin allows you to restore any content modules or Tabs that you have deleted.  Simply select the page or module to restore and click the Restore button.  The module or tab instantly reappears in the location that it was deleted from.

Roles Based Security
- Set up page and content editing rights for individual users.  The user then simply logs in to the website and can immediately edit the content they have authorization for.  Editing rights can be given for the whole website, a single page, or just a single module on one page. You can set up a number of security groups with editing rights to different areas of your site. Then you can add multiple individuals to each group.

 
Modules

Modules available:  There are optional modules that can be added at any time.

Account LogIn - The Account LogIn module permits users to log in to your portal. This module features a Register button new Users and a Password Reminder.

Announcements - The Announcements Module renders a list of announcements. Each announcement includes a title and text. Optional features are "read more" link to a file, tab or another site; announcement date beside title; and the ability to set each announcement to automatically expire after a particular date.

Banners
- Banner advertising is managed through the Vendors module in the Admin tab.  You can select the number of banners to display as well as the banner type.  For full details on how to add, edit and delete content on this module, click the 'Edit' link in the top right corner of the module.

Contacts
- Renders contact information for a group of people, for example a project team. Includes name, position, email address, and two telephone numbers. The Mobile version of this module provides a Call link to phone a contact when the module is browsed from a wireless telephone.

Discussion - Renders a group of messages posted on a specific topic. Each discussion includes a Read/Reply Message page, which allows authorized users to reply to existing messages or add a brand new discussion topic.

Documents
- Renders a list of documents, including links to browse or download the document.

Events List/Calendar
- Renders a list of upcoming events, including time and location. The events list can alternately be set to render in calendar format. Each event can be set to automatically expire on a particular date, or re-occur by any specified number of days, weeks, months or years.

FAQs - FAQs allow you to manage a list of Frequently asked Questions and their corresponding Answers.

Feedback
- Feedback allows visitors to send messages to the Administrator of the portal. If a user is already logged in, then their name will automatically populate the form.

IFrame
- IFrame is an Internet Explorer browser feature which allows you to display content from another website within a frame on your site.

Image - Renders an image. The module simply refers to the image by a relative or absolute URL, so the image file does not need to reside within the site.  Height and width attributes for the image can also be altered, allowing you to scale the image.

Links
- This module renders a list of hyperlinks to any tab, image or file on your website; or to a file, image or web page on another website. The links can be set to display either vertically or horizontally on the page, or as a drop down box. The links appear alphabetically by default, or you can
reorder them. A description of the link can be set to appear either on mouse over, or when you click on the link.

NewsFeeds - Renders news feeds on you site. News feeds provide your visitors with up-to-date, topical information on any range of topic. The addition of automatically updating news feeds ensures your web site is a place worth visiting again and again!

Service Directory (not currently available) - The Service Directory module allows your website users to search your Vendor list. The Service Directory module is searchable by the name of your vendor and keywords. Two vendors lists exist, one maintained under the Admin > Vendors tab and the other under the Host > Vendors tab.

Search - Design a customized search for any module.

User Account - The User Account module permits Registered Users to add, edit and update their User Account details. Membership services are also managed here.

Survey - Design customized surveys for users. Surveys can consist of one or more questions and includes a results chart that authorized users can view. The survey module uses cookies to record if a computer has already been used to submit a survey.

Text/HTML
- Design content in a visual editor, or add html. Includes a picture gallery of all your uploaded images.

User Defined Table - The User Defined Table allows you to create a custom data table for managing tabular information. Note that clicking on a heading reorders the data A-Z or Z-A.

Who Is - The Who Is module allows users to conduct searches on .com and .net domain names. Search results provide information on whether the domain is registered and can be set to display full registrant details.

XML/XSL
- This module renders the result of an XML/XSL transform. The XML and XSL
files are identified by their UNC paths in the xmlsrc and xslsrc properties of the module. The Xml/Xsl module includes an edit page, which persists these settings to a database.
